Bring a sculptural contrast of smooth glass and rugged wood to a favourite shelf with the Molten Glass on Wood Vase. Its slender upright vessel rises from a flowing glass base shaped around natural Gamal wood, with a subtle blue-green tint catching the light along the thicker edges.
Hand-blown recycled glass is shaped while hot to follow the contours of the wood, creating an individual pairing of materials. Style with a few artificial stems to keep the slender outline visible, or enjoy it empty on a console beside books and plain ceramics. Natural variations in the wood and glass mean the piece you receive will differ from the examples pictured.
Material: Gamal wood (Gliricidia sepium) and glass.
